'Twas The Night Before Christ
In 2002 South Dakota native, Tom Roberts,
was encouraged to publish one of his writings that over the
years he had shared many times with family and friends. It was a
quaint little story about the very first Christmas – a poetic
tale he wrote while stranded in a blizzard. He and his wife
decided that they would publish it with the intent on having the
proceeds benefit a charity, and selected Children’s Home
Society. Together they enlisted the artistic talent of Steve
Hoffman as an illustrator, and with the help of many other
friends and donors they made this project a reality.
