VOLUNTEER SERVICES

Children's Inn is pleased to welcome volunteer service that enhances the work of staff in providing excellent care for the women and children who are its guests.  There are many volunteer opportunities available that involve either direct contact or no contact with guests.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

  • SHELTER AIDE
         Special care, assistance, and attention to the women and children staying at the emergency shelter.
  • OFFICE ASSISTANCE
    Assist with various clerical, mailing, and reception needs.
  • KITCHEN AIDE
         Assist with the preparation and service of meals and snacks to shelter guests.
  • SPECIAL NEEDS
         Volunteers may share a variety of talents by providing haircuts, manicure and make-up sessions for women, indoors and outdoors maintenance projects, grounds work, holiday decorating, etc.
