One Person BIG Difference Campaign

JAVA JUICE DRIVE – Oprah’s BIG Give Dakota

Ann Meinjohans, Michelle Poe and Tanya Sheldon invite you to join them in making a BIG difference for the kids at Children’s Home Society as part of Oprah’s BIG Give Dakota.

Ann, Michelle and Tanya have selected Children’s Home Society to receive the funds raised through this "grassroots" effort. Their motto is: "One Person, BIG Difference," and we need your help. Join us for our:

What: JAVA JUICE DRIVE

When: Sunday, April 6, 2008 & Sunday, April 13, 2008

12:00 noon – 5:00 pm

Where: Yankton Trail Park

Entrance on Minnesota Ave. & 57th Street

Exit only on 57th Street

Why: "Drive-Thru" donation – with complimentary Coffee, Ice Tea or Juice – courtesy of Dunn Brothers Coffee & Land ‘O Lakes

Sioux Falls Fire Department will be on hand as well!

In addition to the "Java Juice Drive" we are also accepting donations at all Wells Fargo Bank locations or go to the Children’s Home Society website at: www.chssd.org to donate on-line.

Our goal:

    1. To have 100% community involvement at just $1/ person. This WILL generate $200,000 for Oprah’s BIG Give - Dakota.
    2. Make a difference one person at a time for the Children’s Home Society.
    3. Prove that ONE person CAN make a difference.

Children’s Home Society of South Dakota (CHS) serves over 2,000 children each year, primarily ages 4-13, through residential treatment, education, emergency shelter, forensic interview & examination centers, foster car & adoption services, and relative placement. The majority of these children are victims of severe abuse and neglect. Emergency shelter services and counseling are provided for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
